How many CoolSculpting treatments will I need?
For smaller amounts of fat in isolated areas of the body, a single treatment may be sufficient to freeze and eliminate the fat. For larger areas of stubborn body fat, multiple treatments may be needed.
We offer a free consultation at our Midtown Detroit office to create an individualized CoolSculpting treatment plan that is custom designed to meet your specific fat loss desires.
How soon will I see my CoolSculpting results?
As the body flushes out the dead fat cells, CoolSculpting results develop over time. Most patients notice visible fat loss as soon as 3 weeks after CoolSculpting. The most dramatic fat loss results typically become apparent around 2 months after treatment.
The patient’s body continues to flush out the dead fat cells for a total of 4 to 6 month – after which time the complete results of CoolSculpting are visible.
Are there side effects to CoolSculpting?
Because CoolSculpting is non-surgical and non-invasive there is little to no risk of serious side effects or complications.
After CoolSculpting some patients may experience temporary redness, swelling, or “whiteness” in the treated areas for a few days. Other patients have reported temporary bruising, tingling, stinging or tenderness afterwards. These are normal effects of the “suctioning” process and typically disappear in a day or two – or a week at the most.
When can I return to normal activities after CoolSculpting?
Immediately! Patients can even drive themselves home from their CoolSculpting appointment.
Because CoolSculpting is fast, with no anesthetic and no downtime, many patients return to work the same day. Many of our patients report going to the gym, running errands, or going out to celebrate after receiving CoolSculpting!
